Latin dance styles have borrowed characteristics of cultural dances from all over the world, hailing from several different countries in South and Central America, and most having influences that range far beyond this region. Some dances are easier to learn than others, but all Latin dances have a flair that both spectators and dancers alike adore.
Music is what primarily drove the evolution of Latin dancing as it guided the dance steps with the various measures, speeds, and the feelings it evoked, from energetic to sensual. Latin American regions cultivated their own unique styles, and from those root styles, and combination of styles, new styles were born. While there are many different styles of Latin dancing, DanceCraft focuses on the most socially adaptable styles.
