Argentine Tango

Argentine tango is a musical genre and accompanying social dance originating at the end of the 19th century in the suburbs of Buenos Aires and Montevideo. Argentine tango music is much more varied than ballroom tango music, therefore the Argentine tango dance style has developed a far more diverse array of acceptable movements that are highly driven by the dancers' improvisational interpretation of the music.
